Of this I’m Sure of….

Last Sunday, I woke up thinking about something that I had previously given up on. Its something that I thought I’d never get to experience yet I believe that God placed that thought in my mind remind me of the importance of having hope.

To have hope simply means to desire with expectation of obtainment or fulfillment or to expect with confidence (Merriam-Webster)

Using that definition, ask yourself:

  1. Do I have hope?
  2.  Or has life happened to me such that I have lost hope?
  3. Have I forgotten the things that used to hope for?
  4.  Am I in a seemingly “hopeless” situation and have I given up?

Hope, along with faith and love are key in every Christian’s life. The bible says that, “Three things will last forever—faith, hope, and love—and the greatest of these is love.” (1 Corinthians 13:13)

Which means that God wants us to have hope that it shall get better. Every one of us believers hopes to get to heaven ( we expect it to happen) yet we never hope for the seemingly “smaller” stuff.

It’s time!!

Its time to have hope again!!! The dreams that you once had but have since forgotten, the things you had been hoping for but are yet to pass and it seems like God has delayed or forgotten about. He’s asking us to hope again.

It’s time to dream again and as you dream ask Him to remind you the dreams you once had.Ask Him to remind you the dreams you have forgotten about.

Even as we hope that He will do exceedingly and abundantly more than we could ever ask for, brethren have hope in Jesus Christ. A number of believers have grown tired of waiting on Jesus,we feel that He is taking too long to return or to fulfill His promises. I encourage you to hang on to Him, do not grow weary and if you are,ask Him to renew your strength.

Because when He does return, its going to be worth every sacrifice, tear you have shed, things you have lost. Place your hope in the Lord. It is worth every second.

“Blessed is the man who trusts in Yahweh, and whose trust Yahweh is. For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, who spreads out its roots by the river, and shall not fear when heat comes, but its leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.” ~ Jeremiah 17:7-8

Have a blessed year filled with hope!
