I choose to stay here

I planted the seed in your hearts, and Apollos watered it, but it was God who made it grow. It’s not important who does the planting, or who does the watering. What’s important is that God makes the seed grow. The one who plants and the one who waters work together with the same purpose. And both will be rewarded for their own hard work. ~ 1 Corinthians 3:6‭-‬8 NLT

Today I want to speak to the ones that have been planting. Those that have faithfully continued to give their all, remained hopeful and steadfast even in the face of hurdles and tests You’ve been mocked, ridiculed but you keep pushing. You continue to show up. You refuse to give up.

Even when the plant looked like it was not bearing fruit you diligently watered it. You didn’t allow the drought to discourage you. You remained faithful through the storms, tests and trials.

Those who sow in tears shall reap with joyful shouting. ~ Psalm 126:5

The thing with planting is that one has to wait for a while before seeing the results. It is a process, not a one day affair. But after a while,as the plant receives the necessary ingredients that are necessary for its growth (water, sunlight and carbon dioxide), the plant begins to blossom and produce fruit.

So it is with you. All the things that you have planted; the prayers, time spent with God,devotion ,fasting and serving are not in vain.

It may feel like nothing is happening right now, but I want to assure you that nothing you do for God is I vain. At the right time (check out my post on seasons) , the Lord will do it for you. So keep being faithful. Keep reminding Him of His promises. The results will not come immediately but I assure you that they eventually will. He who is faithful and True and He rewards faithfulness.
